Welcome to St Saviour’s website and to St Saviour’s Church of England Primary school!
I do hope that you enjoy finding out about St Saviour’s through our website…and that later you come and make a visit to the school. It is a very special school with a big heart for children. As a church school we build on the foundation of our Christian values and these support every area of school life. The warmth and care of our children, staff and families is tangible and encourages everyone to give of their best.
Every child is recognised as uniquely created by God, and as staff we seek to nurture each child so that they develop in every area of their lives, from their own starting points. Our aim is that through an exciting curriculum and opportunities for enrichment, children have raised aspirations for all that they can achieve. St Saviour’s has a history of providing a strong culture of engagement and learning through its passion for excellence.
As the head teacher at St Saviour’s, I am working closely with colleagues and governors to steer the school towards increasingly high standards of academic achievement and fulfilment. Class teachers and senior leaders meet every half term to discuss the progress of each child in reading, writing and maths so that children are always challenged to make good and outstanding progress in their learning. Interventions are put in place if children need extra help to achieve the aspirational targets that are set for them, and children with special educational needs are well supported to achieve their goals.
Our school has a rich multi-cultural diversity that enhances the lives of the whole school community. Every child and adult is valued and I am sure that as you search our website you will be drawn into the learning, enjoyment and life of St Saviour’s…we will be looking out for you at school as well as on the website!
Thank you for visiting!
