Year 2

Welcome to Year 2's Page!

We have been busy working on our London topic over the last few weeks. The day we were due to go on our visit to London was pouring with rain...but fortunately the following day was bright and sunny so we set off on a walking tour which included crossing the Golden Jubilee Bridge with views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, Horse Guard's Parade and St James' Park. Along the way we worked with our groups to take photos. Back in school we have turned them into photo stories with sound, captions and special effects. We have also worked hard to produce group books about our visit. Look out for an invitation to come into school to see all of this after half term!
In the meantime here are a few photos...

And today we have had a lovely celebration of the Diamond Jubilee..lots of glitterry crowns, union jacks, a picnic lunch in the playground and delicious scones for afternoon tea!
