Year 6 visit to 'Deptford Creek' as part of their topic on 'Rivers'

On the 13th November Year 6 went to Deptford Creek. We had an amazing time and learnt a lot. My favourite moment was when we walked in the river. We had to wear waders which went up to our thighs. We also wore red rain coats. There was lots of junk in the river. We found two driving licenses and a door. We went fishing with small nets and Indigo found a baby eel. At lunch time we sang Ronaldo 'Happy Birthday'.
In the afternoon we did some experiments on the water to see how clean it was; it was called a 'Water Quality' Test. It was really fun and was a nice birthday present for Ronaldo!
