History

In History this half term, children are learning all about explorers.

 

The children will be learning:

 

  • Asking questions about who explorers were and why they travelled

  • Wondering what life was like in the past

  • Showing interest in maps, artefacts, ships, and journeys

  • Understanding that historical stories come from sources

  • Recognising that different accounts may tell stories differently

  • Beginning to distinguish between fact and opinion
