In Maths this term, we are looking at money and multiplication
The core learning objectives that we'll exploring this term include:
Knowing that money represents value
Understanding that multiplication means “groups of” or repeated addition
Explaining answers using simple language (e.g. “I have 3 groups of 2”
We will do this by:
Working out how to pay for items
Finding different ways to make the same amount of money
Solving real-life multiplication problems (e.g. “2 bags with 5 apples in each”)
