SCARF: Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience, Friendship

Unit 1 - Me and My Relationships

 

We use the SCARF scheme from Coram Life Education for our PSHE planning. The Autumn 1 unit is 'Me and My Relationships'. 

The key skills the children will learn:

  • Recognise the importance of classroom and school rules
  • Recognise what good listening is and how it looks 
  • Discuss feelings
  • Identify our zones of regulation
  • Recognise ways we can move to the 'green zone'
  • Recognise how words can hurt us 
  • Understand the difference between being hurt physically and emotionally
  • Discuss what makes a good friend
