Christianity - Why do Christians make and try to keep promises before God?

In this unit, children explore the big question 'why do Christians make and try to keep promises before God?' 

Children will learn about the Christian rites of Baptism and Marriage and about who makes the promises in these sacraments. They will think about the promises they make in their own lives and make links between their own lives and beliefs, and those of the Christian faith.
