Dear Parents and Carers,
Arrangements for the start of term in September, years 1- 6
We do hope that you and your family are able to enjoy the warm weather… even though the heat is a bit too much for some of us!
We did send out text messages on Friday 31st July to let you know the start and finish times and entrance gate for your child’s class. So that you have the details for future reference we are putting the timings in this letter for you. Whilst we understand that staggered timings are not very convenient if you have more than one child to drop off and pick up, we do need to be mindful of the government guidance and follow the timings punctually so that we safeguard all our children, staff and families. Thank you.
If the timings are difficult for you, please make arrangements with a family whose child is eg in the same class bubble as yours so that we are all helping each other.
We are making arrangements for Breakfast Club before school – for an hour before your child’s start time. Please bring your child to the main school gate to drop them off, staff will keep a look out so please be patient. Parents will not be able to come into school but will be able to pay the £5 charge by Parent Pay. Breakfast Club will begin from Monday 7th September and there will be a booking form on the website from 1st September for you to complete and email to admin.
From our survey there is interest in our After School care which for the moment will be for an hour from the time that your child finishes school. This will either be in your child’s classroom or in the school hall. Your child will receive a drink and a snack. The cost is £5, payable by Parent Pay. After School club will begin from Monday 7th September and there will be a booking form on the website from 1st September for you to complete and email to admin. Children will be able to be collected from the main school gate as parents will not be able to come into school.
We do not plan to run any sports or craft clubs at least for the first half term… we will update you during October.

Year 1 9am to 3pm, please use the Infant vehicle gates and the yellow spots!
Year 2 9.10am to 3.10pm, please use the Infant vehicle gates and the green spots!
Year 3 9.10am to 3.10pm, please use the KS2 vehicle gates and the yellow spots!
Year 4 8.50am to 2.50pm, please use the main school gates and the red spots!
Year 5 8.50am to 2.50pm, please use the KS2 vehicle gates and the yellow spots!
Year 6 9am to 3pm, please use the KS2 vehicle gates and the green spots by the year 6 classroom!
